Why a Product Incubator?
Historically, medical devices have been developed via partnerships with existing device firms or companies formed and financed by venture capital. Recent consolidation trends have caused larger medical device firms to internally invest in sizable R&D projects aimed to provide greater revenue impact. Venture capital firms have developed a similar preference to fund larger opportunities that may create high return rates on a larger investment.
